Disguise License Depot

The Disguise License Depot is where a Disguise license is activated on a machine or dongle, moved between machines, and updated. Open it as CodeMeter Dashboard from the Apps section of the MyDisguise sidebar, or go to lc.codemeter.com directly.

The Depot runs on CodeMeter License Central rather than on MyDisguise, so it looks different to the rest of the platform. Older pages call it the CodeMeter License Central WebDepot, which is the same site.

The three tabs

  • Depot is where you enter a Ticket and select Retrieve to see the licenses on it, then activate or re-host them.
  • Support is the Depot’s own help, provided by CodeMeter.
  • Auto Update applies pending license updates to the CodeMeter container on the machine you are using.

Every Depot task starts with a License Ticket ID. Find it in MyDisguise on the Subscriptions & Licenses page, by expanding the subscription and then the product, and selecting the eye icon on the license row to show the ID or the copy icon to copy it.

You may not need the Depot at all

From Designer r30.5 onwards, Designer checks for license updates in the background and extends a monthly license automatically once the subscription payment is processed, provided the machine holding the license is connected to the internet. The Depot is for what that does not cover, such as moving a license to another machine, working offline, or running a release earlier than r30.5.
